Request for the installationå:1. Apache server
2. PHP 4 and higher
3. GD LIB (desirable)
4. Mod_rewrite (desirable)
Installation:The installation process is very simple. The only thing you have to do is to open your archive and to flood them to the server( to the site root or to the separate directory) and to run file iïstàll.ðhð. During the installing process you will be given all further instructions.
The only problem you may have is not installed or not properly working module mod_rewrite. It is a pity that by means of PHP to discover whether the module is install or not is impossible. That’s why will do in a following way:
First unload all files to the server and try to run the installer
If the installation is in process and no fatal errors appeared – everything is fine, continue your installation, further will be done one more module working test.
If error 503 appeared or any other horrible thing – sorry but you will have to refuse using PURL on your site. (By the way system administrators may be blamed for unconformity of their hosting to modern standards.)
If such error appeared you must delete file .htaccess from directory. ut better not to delete but simply leave its first 4 lines.

php_flag magic_quotes_gpc 0
php_flag magic_quotes_runtime 0
And all the rest to delete...
Now, when all files are flooded to the serve and mod_rewrite is clear, all rights should be laid down to some files and directory. Put CHMOD777 on:
Folder "files" and all files in it.older "files" and all directories in it.
Folder "administrator/dbbackup"
And all the rest will be done by installer.
